Welcome to Good Company. By accessing our website, purchasing inventory from The Front Room or The Backroom, or engaging our custom studio services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Business & Inventory Scope

Good Company Studio, LLC specializes in restored vintage furniture, handcrafted decor, and architectural salvage.

  • The Front Room: Features finished, restored furniture and curated decor pieces ready for home placement.

  • The Backroom: Features raw workshop inventory, vintage components, and architectural salvage ("in the raw").

2. Vintage Character, Condition, & Dimensions

  • Natural Character: Due to the age and historical nature of vintage furniture and architectural salvage, items may display natural wear, wood grain variations, historical markings, or original patina. These characteristics are inherent features of restored and salvaged materials, not defects.

  • Dimensions & Fit Responsibility: We make every effort to provide precise dimensions and clear photography. Buyers are strictly responsible for measuring doorways, hallways, stairwells, and entry paths prior to purchase to ensure the item can be safely moved into its intended space.

3. All Sales Final & Return Policy

Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of our finished pieces, vintage objects, and workshop salvage, all sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds once payment has been processed. Please review all photos, descriptions, and dimensions thoroughly prior to completing your purchase.

4. Local Studio Pickup & Storage Terms

Unless local delivery is explicitly selected and scheduled at checkout, all purchases are designated for local pickup at our workshop studio in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.

  • Pickup Window: Items must be collected from our Lansdowne studio within 7 calendar days of the purchase date, unless prior written arrangements have been made.

  • Storage Fees: Items not collected within the 7-day window will accrue a holding fee of $10.00 per day starting on day 8.

  • Abandonment Policy: Items uncollected after 30 calendar days from the purchase date will be deemed abandoned. Abandoned items will be returned to store inventory and resold without refund or store credit to the original buyer.

5. Local Delivery Scope

When local delivery services are arranged through Good Company:

  • Standard delivery is ground-level or main threshold placement unless white-glove interior placement has been agreed upon in writing prior to delivery.

  • If an item cannot fit into the property due to space constraints, stairways, or doorway dimensions, the buyer remains responsible for the purchase price and delivery fee.

6. Custom Work & Backroom Consultations

  • Estimates & Approvals: Custom refinishing or modifications based on raw Backroom inventory require a separate written project estimate and scope agreement.

  • Deposits: Deposits for custom refinishing labor or specialty materials are non-refundable once work on the piece or material ordering has commenced.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including business branding, product photography, website copy, logos, and staging designs—is the exclusive property of Good Company Studio, LLC and is protected by copyright laws. Content may not be reproduced, republished, or redistributed without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

Good Company Studio, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website, product placement, or third-party handling. These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
