The Studio

We believe that everything we could ever need has already been made.

Through thoughtful and imaginative restoration and re‑imagination, we work to make things lovable again. We create objects worth keeping.

MARNIE

Marnie is the full-time driving force behind Good Company and the daily face of our studio. With an extraordinary eye for color, pattern, and proportion, she turns raw, overlooked pieces into standout furniture made for the home. Meticulous and detail-oriented, Marnie leads our day-to-day workshop operations—from curating palettes and hand-painting finishes to handling custom refinishing consultations. If you drop by the shop or send an inquiry, Marnie is the one bringing your piece to life.

SUSAN

Susan built Good Company alongside Marnie to turn a shared love for vintage furniture and architectural salvage into a working studio. Working full-time outside the studio, she dedicates her off-hours to refinishing pieces, crafting signature 'Little Windows' and Art Totems, and building the operational foundation that keeps the studio moving forward.

How Commissions Work

01 / Consultation

We discuss your vision, spatial needs, and material preferences. Together we explore how a restored or custom piece will fit your space.

02 / Curation & Design

We source raw stock or draft initial plans, refining proportions, structure, and finishes until the concept is ready for the workbench.

03 / Craft & Delivery

We build, restore, and finish the piece with care, coordinating pickup or delivery once it’s ready for its next home.
